After 15 years of Ulcerative Colitis my colon finally gave up and had to be removed. In 2023 I had a pan proctocolectomy and now have a permanent ileostomy. I had been a marathon runner (of sorts) & triathlete and wanted to continue with sports. I found it very difficult to find suitable support clothing for swimming, cycling and canoeing. This led me to a lot of research and wasted purchases of unsuitable clothing. As a result of this I decided to put together some documents to assist others who have recently found themselves with a Stoma. I continue to update these documents as I find more information and as new products become available.
