I found this interesting bit of information on Google

    Legal Status in Ireland
While these cards are extremely helpful for discreetly communicating your condition to staff, they currently rely entirely on the goodwill of business owners. However, the Equal Status (Access to Toilet Facilities) Bill 2026 was introduced to the Dáil. This legislation aims to make “No Wait Cards” legally binding, requiring retail establishments and businesses with staff toilets to provide access to cardholders in urgent situations.
